Our client is one of Asia's leading foreign bank.
Location of work: Tampines, Singapore
Senior Manager, Systems Development, Wholesale banking eChannels - Transaction Banking
- Business relationship management, including key stakeholder interaction with senior wholesale bank business heads/managers
Strategy: Responsible for translating business strategy into technology strategy.
- Responsible for developing technology strategy & delivery roadmaps with business managers
- Gathering & prioritization of high-level business requirements
- Preparation of project costing, funding proposals, high-level applications architecture
- Overall release planning & portfolio management across a number of complex projects in offshore outsourced environment
- Delivery management at a portfolio level across a large team: Internal staff, contractors & vendors (200-300 or more in all, depending on projects, with a lean direct/onsite team & mostly indirect offshore/vendors)
- Resource planning & management, including recruitment and performance management for direct staff
- Oversight of project budgets of USD 30+ Mil annually. Financial management, including overall budget tracking & control
- Vendor relationships and performance management
- Strong experience in senior technology management role(s) e.g Head of Technology or CTO in the systems development space
- Client mindset with ability to work in a multi-cultural environment. Focus on processes, quality & efficiency
- Strong skills & experience with application development & project management methodologies
- Familarity with large-scale regional/global banking applications domain, infrastructure & technologies
- Familiarity with technical architecture & design concepts. Exposure to internet applications & banking/channels preferred.
- Has a strong domain knowledge in the Wholesale Banking space - developed Cash and Trade internet banking solutions
- Experience of developing internet banking systems on J2EE architecture - has developed internet portals or products that are currently implemented by the competition.
- Some one who has already done this job and hiring that external talent can quickly help the Bank to leap frog the competition.
- Such resources could be hired from companies like IFlex, Infosys - banks like HSBC - vendors like IBM who has done similar solutions for their clients.
