Lead the definition of one or more application and technology architecture domains in consultation with the Head of Technology Architecture and the IT Group as a whole.
Understand the needs of business units and assist in the development of technology roadmaps.
Serve as lead architect in IT projects to implement an updated technology foundation for the bank.
Communicate key elements of one or more technology architectures to technical and business audiences
Provide consultation and issue resolution services to IT colleagues for one or more technology architectures, consulting with other architecture leaders as required.
Assist in preparing the organization for the next generation of technology advancements, including core banking.
Review the architecture design of key application projects to ensure alignment with the enterprise standards, processes, procedures and target architecture/roadmap.
Remain current on leading trends in designated architecture areas and IT in general.

Computer Sc. or Computer Eng. degree or above in related IT discipline. Additional business degree would be an advantage
At least 10 years industry experience across all aspects of systems development, technology strategy creation, and management.
At least 2 to 3 years of extensive experience in 1) (Application) solution architecture in financial services, covering multiple locations; AND 2) engaging with senior people within business, operations, and technology.
Proven analytical capability and thorough working knowledge of a key business line of a bank.
Strong understanding of the relationships between processes, data and technology.
Good team work with strong influencing skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills, highly organized.
